Terms of Service

Trackz is a marketplace where musicians (“Musicians”) offer services — such as song feedback, coaching sessions, and mixing & mastering — to buyers (“Users”). Musicians are independent providers, not employees or agents of Trackz. Trackz provides the platform: profiles, payments, and the chat where services are delivered.

• You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and provide accurate information.
• Sign-in uses one-time email codes; you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• Prices are set by Musicians and shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
• Trackz charges Musicians a platform fee (currently 15%) deducted from each sale. The remainder accrues to the Musician’s balance when an order is marked complete, and is paid out on request via the payout method on file.
• Musicians are responsible for their own taxes on earnings.

• Services are delivered through the Trackz chat. Musicians should deliver within a reasonable time and as described on their profile.
• An order is complete when the Musician marks it complete after delivering the service.
• If something goes wrong — no delivery, or a service materially different from what was described — contact us at support@trackz.xyz. Refunds are assessed case by case and, where granted, are returned via Stripe.

• You keep all rights to the music, files, and messages you share. You grant Trackz only the limited license needed to store, transmit, and display that content to operate the service.
• You must own or have rights to anything you upload. Musicians providing feedback or mixes gain no ownership of a User’s music, and Users gain no rights to a Musician’s name or likeness beyond the delivered service.
• Reviews shown on Musician profiles are provided by the Musician and should be genuine.

You agree not to:

• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious (including malware), or abusive;
• use the platform to move transactions off-platform to avoid fees;
• harass other users, spam, scrape, or attempt to breach the service’s security;
• misrepresent who you are or the services you offer.

Trackz is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality of any Musician’s services or any User’s conduct. Creative feedback is subjective; a service being different from your hopes is not by itself a defect.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trackz’s total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid to Trackz in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities.

You may stop using Trackz at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms; Musicians’ earned, unpaid balances from legitimate completed orders remain payable after termination.

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date, and continued use after changes means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Trackz’s operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: support@trackz.xyz.
